Walnut Wine Bottle Stopper

This wine bottle stopper has been turned from Walnut. Walnut is a beautiful dark brown color with a blackish striped figure. The wood develops a rich patina that grows more lustrous with age. Walnut is generally straight-grained, but sometimes has wavy or curly grain that produces an attractive and decorative figure. This species produces a greater variety of figure types than any other. The bottle stopper base is made from FDA food approved solid stainless steel. I only use stainless for the base of my stoppers because stainless steel will not pit or corrode like most cheaper plated models such as chrome. This stopper also utilizes a multiple o-ring system which creates an air tight seal to keep your wine fresh as the day you opened the bottle. As with all my wine stoppers it comes packaged in a velour drawstring pouch which is great for gift giving or storage.
